Ubisoft Games users world wide faced trouble accessing Ubisoft games.Ubisoft Connect, the company’s online PC launcher is currently facing connectivity issues making it hard for players to reach their game libraries.
This was observed shortly after the scheduled maintenance for Rainbow Six Siege. Players were unable to connect to the game or got stuck midway when the servers were back online.
After a while, situation further escalated to Ubisoft Connect itself and ultimately prevented users from logging into their accounts.
Ubisoft’s support team has acknowledged the problem, stating on X (formerly Twitter), “We’re aware of issues affecting connectivity in multiple games and are working towards resolving this ASAP.”

Unfortunately, they haven’t provided a specific timeline for when services will be back to normal. It’s important to note that this issue seems to be limited to the Ubisoft client, as users can still log into their accounts via the official website.
Since Ubisoft is a digital-only platform, this is coming off as a major inconvenience for players and attempting to resolve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling Ubisoft Connect has not been successful.
This issue highlights one of the major downsides of digital game ownership, as you can’t access any games offline or online if you can’t log into the launcher.
This situation follows a similar incident with the PlayStation Network in February, which also left players unable to access their digital libraries for nearly 24 hours. While it’s unclear if Ubisoft’s outage will last that long, the frustration among gamers is certainly noticeable.
